This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of the Media Forge Terms of Service.
This AUP governs Customer use of the Media Forge private media-processing API. Media Forge processes Customer Content at the Customer's direction; it is not a public hosting, publishing, social, discovery, recommendation, or distribution service.
You may not submit or direct the Service to process content where the requested processing itself is unlawful or where you lack the rights necessary to perform it. Without limiting that rule, you may not use the Service to process content that:
depicts or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor;
infringes or misappropriates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
consists of non-consensual intimate imagery or unlawful sexual content;
is submitted for harassment, stalking, threats, extortion, fraud, impersonation, or other unlawful harm;
violates applicable export controls, sanctions, or other applicable law; or
is knowingly submitted in violation of a binding contractual restriction on your access to or use of that content.
Nothing in this AUP requires Media Forge to proactively monitor, screen, or scan Customer Content. If unlawful material or use comes to our attention through a report, security event, legal process, or other actual-knowledge path, we may take appropriate action under this AUP and applicable law.
You may not:
evade metering, tenant isolation, rate controls, quotas, or applicable plan/operator limits;
share credentials outside the authorized Customer organization or use credentials issued to another tenant;
probe for or attempt arbitrary shell, raw FFmpeg, command-injection, SSRF, internal-network, metadata-service, or credential-exfiltration access;
use the Service to attack, scan, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to third-party systems;
provide input URLs, output destinations, or webhook destinations you are not authorized to use;
interfere with audit, billing, usage, security, or provenance records;
falsely represent that Media Forge hosts, endorses, certifies, or publicly distributes Customer Content; or
resell or expose the Service to third-party end users unless your commercial agreement expressly permits it.
The current paid-beta product is usage-priced and does not promise a bundled compute allowance. Media Forge may enforce or tighten tenant-specific or operator limits for security, abuse containment, risk management, capacity protection, or an applicable plan.
Current technical containment includes tenant concurrency controls and separately protected public-edge/application rate controls. These controls are operational safeguards, not contractual usage entitlements unless an order form expressly says otherwise.
Depending on severity, we may:
refuse or terminate a Job;
remove platform-managed derived outputs;
record an account strike;
revoke one or more credentials;
suspend or terminate a tenant;
preserve records or material when legally required;
cooperate with lawful process; or
take other proportionate measures necessary to protect the Service, customers, or third parties.
The implemented operator path supports removal of derived outputs while retaining job-level audit records, repeat-infringer strikes, and tenant credential revocation. Already-issued JWTs may remain valid until expiry under the configured token TTL.
Copyright claims concerning material stored on systems controlled by Media Forge should follow the Copyright / DMCA Policy. Whether Netanza maintains a Copyright Office designated-agent registration depends on the reviewed applicability posture for the Service's actual storage model; that determination is tracked independently from technical production readiness.
Media Forge does not proactively inspect Customer Content for CSAM. If personnel or systems obtain actual knowledge of facts triggering a reporting duty under applicable law, Netanza's internal CSAM/NCMEC incident runbook governs containment, preservation, reporting, and restricted access. Do not independently download, copy, forward, or inspect suspected material.
Send abuse and security reports to the contact address published on the Netanza Contact page. Mark the message as an abuse report or a security report so it is routed to the responsible owner. Include the Job identifier or tenant/account reference if available; do not attach suspected illegal media to the report.
Netanza is activating dedicated abuse and security mailboxes and will publish them on the Contact page when they are live.
Material changes to this AUP receive a new version and may require renewed acceptance under the same versioned acceptance mechanism used for the Terms of Service.
